Anyone with any ideas?
Must be plenty of other people with this dongle chipset and Recalbox.

After a bit more digging, the Netgear dongle also uses a Realtek RTL8811AU chipset.

Basically both dongles use the same chipset! Tested on my laptop and the Netgear dongle definitely works so it is a s/w (more likely driver) issue.
Any ideas how to install the drivers on Recalbox / Linux?
Following my previous post, I've checked and the Netgear A6100 - AC600 Dual Band WiFi USB Mini Adapter has Vid_0846&Pid_9052&Rev_0200.
The odroid dongle has Vid_0BDA&pid_A811&Rev_0200which according to this is a rebranded Realtek RTL8811AU Wireless LAN 802.11ac USB 2.0 Network Adapter:
I don't mind which one we get working.
Any help is appreciated.
Hi, noob here requiring help.
I've got a Odroid UX4 in an OGST case running Recalbox.
I can't connect to the wi-fi. I'm using a Netgear WNA3100M usb dongle, which according to this is Recalbox complatible:
https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/Compatibility-(EN)
From the network settings menu, I type in my home wi-fi ssid and password but nothing happens when I click ok. The status and ip address remains 'Not connected'. If I hardwired connect using an RJ45 cable, everything works do it's definitely a wi-fi issue.
I'm guessing I need to install the drivers for the dongle but don't know how to do that. A Google search hasn't been much help.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
