Hello @scavy,
FB Neo runs slow if the ROM set is incorrect?
Hi,
I have installed Recalbox 8.1 on a Rasberry 3B+ and I have detected that some games like Golden Axe 1 and 2 doesn't run at full speed with the default settings for FB Neo.
The same games works fine with the same hardware with Batocera v34.
In the Vice documentation exists an option to autostart programs from the command-line
https://vice-emu.sourceforge.io/vice_3.html#SEC24
But I don't now if there is a way to do it from Recalbox.
Hi,
I have tried these cores:
no one worked with compressed roms in 7z
@olivierdroid92 said in Commodore 64 and 7zip:
Hi
On my pi4
D64 CRT and T64 works correctly for me
Yes, like me.
The question is if the rom can be packed in 7zip, like zip.
I have tested the default core from a fresh installation of Recalbox 7.1.1 in a Rasp 4B. (Libretro - vice_x64)
I have tested .d64, .trd and .t64 extensions.
Hi!
In recalbox 6.x, as far I can remember, the roms packed with 7zip worked fine, but in Recalbox 7.1.1 don't work.
I have checked with zip packed files and rom files worked fine.
Regards!
Hi @garmadon,
I don't have tested these other systems, I will do in a few days.
Here is my "es_log.txt" file:
Hi,
The Wonderswan emulator runs at full speed in a pc x64 system. I have tested the same emulator settings in a rp3b+ and works fine.
Hi,
The x68000 emulator doesn't work in the pc x64 version, I have tested zip, dim, 7z, and hdf files and the emulator fails to start.
I have the same Recalbox version in a rb3b+ and works fine with the same Bios files and roms.
Hi everyone,
I don't know if there is the correct place to post this...
I have created some bootable IMG hard disk images that can be attached to the ACSI port for hard drivers.
There is a way for Recalbox to pass these images to the hatari emulator through retroarch/libretro with the --acsi parameter to boot from hard disk?
Thanks!
@chris72 many thanks! I read in the documentation something like that, but I don't know the exact location and the name of the filename to do it.
@acris maybe in the next release will be support for 7z?
thanks!
Hi,
Thanks for your work in recalbox! it's a nice project.
I have some questions for the amiberry emulator in recalbox:
How I can save a custom setting for a game or general change in the emulator? I have changed some configuration in the UAE config screen, clicked on all 'save' buttons that I have found, but the settings seems not permanetly.
Another question is the .7z support, with .zip and whdload games, works fine, but with .7z and whdload a write protected disk message appears in the amiberry, and the game is not running.
system: Raspberry 3B+
maybe I'm doing something wrong?
thanks!
I have tested two USB joysticks:

with this last joystick, select + start doesn't exit on amiberry emulator.
Hi, the overlay or label png image is not showing in the amiga amiberry emulator, (Xmas versión worked fine)
file:
/SHARE/system/configs/retroarch/amiga1200.cfg
input_overlay = "/recalbox/share/system/configs/retroarch/overlays/amiga_overlay.cfg"
custom_viewport_width = "936"
custom_viewport_height = "707"
custom_viewport_x = "166"
custom_viewport_y = "7"
video_message_pos_x = "0.134645669291339"
video_message_pos_y = "0.0652777777777778"
file:
/SHARE/system/configs/retroarch/overlays/amiga_overlay.cfg
overlays = 1
overlay0_overlay = amiga.png
overlay0_full_screen = true
overlay0_descs = 0
Also SELECT+START or SELECT+B buttons don't exit or show the config from the emulator, maybe I have missed some configuration?
The background music enters in a loop when you exit from any emulator and you don't move from the current game selection screen. (Xmas version had the same problem)

Hi, Sorry, the bios file names are incorrect, the proper ones are:

I have fixed the bios file names and the emulator works fine again
Hi, I'm testing the amiga 1200, I have added these bios:

but the emulator doesn't start
tested with: [GAME].uae and [GAME].zip in the amiga1200 rom folder (the Christmas version worked fine)
