I have now tried the same scenario, using the same romset and everything, but on a fresh Recalbox installation, and the Mame2015 roms worked fine.

So it seems like for some reason, my Mame2015 core got corrupted or something on my original installation.

I'm currently comparing the differences between my previous install and my fresh install but I haven't been able to spot anything that is Mame2015 related in the deltas.

(8.0.2-Electron PI400) I'm having trouble running ROMs with the Mame2015 core. I'm using a v0.160 romset for this core, and have tried with both a full non-merged set and a full T7Z-Merged set but I can't get any ROM to run with this core. I have tried manually setting the Mame2015 core on a game in the EmulationStation UI but I also have a .recalbox.conf fie in my Mame2015 directory with:

mame.emulator=libretro
mame.core=mame2015

I have verified these ROMs by installing MAME2015 v0.160 on my Windows machine and the ROMs run fine in there. But when running the ROMs in Recalbox, I get the Recalbox logo, then a black screen, then the Recalbox logo again and then back to the games list, and this happens for all the ROMs in this directory.

As you can see, the game seems to be exiting immediately with Non-Zero exit code 245 ! but I cannot figure out why this is happening.

Found the issue in my AdvanceMame .recalbox.conf file.

Now changed it to:

mame.emulator=advancemame
mame.core=advancemame

I'm having a problem getting the different MAME cores to be set from the .recalbox.conf files.

Yet when I try to launch any game from any MAME directory, it seems they all try to launch using the default Mame2003Plus core. When I try to fix the core manually from Start-> Edit Game 'xxx' -> Run With (which are always set to Libretro MAME2003_PLUS (Default)) to the correct core, the game works so it seems like I have a problem with my .recalbox.conf files.

What am I missing please?

@re-tucano Same. I just upgraded to the latest version (not from the Pi Manager but from the Recalbox UI itself) and now both the menus and all the games are extremely stuttery.

Before this update, everything was buttery smooth.
