Yes that is correct, this is the reason why my n64 games were not loading, the L and R were not mapped, thanks for your help Nachtgarm. Also want to mention that cheap aftermarket/Chinese controllers will give you nothing but headaches. My only other issue is that I want to install a new theme under emulationstation/themes but I keep getting the error below when I try to drag my new theme folder into it: The file is on read-only media, or the media is write protected. Error code: 12 Error message from server (en): Read-only file system I did see something online on how to disable the protection but its not working, anyone have any Idea?

RE: Official recalbox 4.0.0 beta thread
OK! so I finally located the problem on why my n64 games were not working. It has to do with my USB controllers. I have two different aftermarket USB wired controllers, when I have one plugged into my pie, the n64 games will not start, as soon as I unplug the controller from USB and load the game using my keyboard, the game starts fine. One controller is a two button NES and the other an SNES, like I said they are aftermarket but I am using a USB adapter with the SNES. Anyone have any idea what i can configure to fix this? thanks

Hi, I will try that link, but the same n64 roms were working when I was using retropie, recalbox is soooo much better though. I have recalbox (V4.0.0-build-73 2016/04/19 00:25 ) and I connect via HDMI. n64 game are in .n64 format. Not sure what big or little endian mean, sorry kind of new here. thanks

RE: Official recalbox 4.0.0 beta thread
Has anyone gotten the n64 games to run? I cant get any of them to run, all other emulators work perfect. Ive spend hours researching for a solution with no luck. When I select a game, the screen goes dark then comes right back to the menu. Ive played with the emulator options with no luck. Ive changed the video options in the recalbox.conf (n64.videomode) no luck there. In the mupen64 folder there are two ini files which I don't have permission to modify (GLideN64.custom.ini and GLideN64.ini). I use WinSCP to connect. Everyone on the web keeps talking about a file called (mupen64plus.cfg) but it looks like that file has changed with the new update. I lOVE recalbox and don't want to give up. please any help would be appreciate it, thank you!!

Cant Add Custom Themes
Hello, I am using WinSCP to try and add a new theme I am making, but when I drag the folder into the theme directory it tells me I don't have permission to do that. Does anyone know of a way I can add a new theme I am working on? Seems to be write protected. thanks -Alex
