4.1 Update Issue - What to do?

Hi all,

I have had the notice to say that an update is available (stable updates) on my recalbox, Auto-updates are ON (yet nothing happens after I click OK to the notice).

If I go into the system, update, really update and hit yes, I get this message:
"Update failed, the system will now reboot"

Am I...

a) Just being impatient as the autoupdate is doing it's thing in the background
b) having an actual issue - where I will need to backup everything and start again from scratch?

or c) something else?

Didn't want to be 'that guy who starts another 4.1 thread' but I've no idea whether to just leave it on overnight or what...
