Unsolved Amiga, Stand der Dinge?

Hallo zusammen,
ich wollte mich nach dem Stand der Dinge bezüglich Amiga Support erkundigen.
Läuft es mittlerweile (gut)?

Für Retropie habe ich eben eine Anleitung entdeckt, die es über Amiberry möglich macht,

Habe es aber noch nicht probiert, da ich liebe Recalbox nutze ️

Würd mich über den aktuellen Stand freuen. C64 wäre auch noch interessant

über die Integration bzw. den Support in einer offiziellen Version von recalbox kann ich dir leider keine Antwort geben.
Möglichkeiten gibt es aber trotzdem, auch wenn noch nicht komplett "out of the box" bei der Installation.

Thank you for working with the Amiga. I have followed the instructions and tried it with a whdload game. When I start the game I get into the configuration menu. But here are still many settings necessary. I tried something and then canceled. For me it is still too troublesome/difficult. Nevertheless, I would like to thank you for your work. Perhaps it becomes even more user-friendly.
In the meantime I try cd32. That runs quite well so far.

which whdload game did you try ?
it should boot directly into the game and you shouldn't have any thing to configure

@hubi ah yeah i didn't understand you tried with ratte's cd32 version, it's normal it's not working with his, he removed the adf/whdl code to concentrate on cd32

No, first time i have make a fresh install from recalbox 4.0.2 and followed your instructions. After it did not work (with me) i make a new fresh install from recalbox and tried ratte´s cd32 version.
As soon as possible, I will instal recalbox on a second sd-card and try your version again

Ich habe die letzten Beiträge ein wenig verfolgt und bin ein wenig durcheinander.
Ich habe da eine Anmerkung:

Das kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Wenn man "gute" whdload Spiele nutzt und der Anleitung von @voljega folgt, läuft es "out of the box" (bis auf die minimale Controller-Konfiguration "eventuell"). Wir reden hier von "Amiga1200"
Das man in das Menü gelangen "kann", um dort Einstellungen vorzunehmen, sollte klar sein, ist aber normalerweise nicht nötig.

Die Version von @Ratte ist für CD32 Spiele, nicht für ADF oder WHD soweit ich weiß (d.h. nicht das etwas schlechter oder besser ist, beide Versionen sind, je nach Bedürfnis, super).

Du kannst hier gerne erklären wie du das im Einzelnen umsetzt (auf deutsch ), und ich schaue ob es dort einen Fehler gibt. Ich tippe aber eher auf ein "whdload Spiel" Problem.

Ich habe es gerade nochmals durchgespielt. Alles läuft wie beschrieben.

Danke für deinen Post. Es würde mich sehr freuen, wenn es läuft. Dann gehe ich jetzt erstmal auch davon aus, dass es an mir bzw. dem whdload Spiel gelegen hat.
Ich habe auch tatsächlich gestern schnell aufgegeben. Der Grund dafür ist, dass ich vor ein paar Monaten bereits eine frühere Version von voljega getestet habe und es da eher schlecht als recht funktionierte. Da es gestern nicht auf Anhieb klappte, versuchte ich nach wenigen Probieren dann Rattes CD32 Version.

Also ich bin jetzt voller Vorfreude, komme aber heute nicht mehr zum ausprobieren.
Ich bin echt froh, dass Leute wie voljega und Ratte hier ihre Mühe und Zeit investieren. Nochmal vielen Dank dafür!

@hubi Dion't worry i have 2000 sorted games or so on my recalbox between amiga600 and amiga1200, adf or whdl format and most of them (98% i'd say) work so i'm pretty we will make it work for you eventually.

It's cool you're testing too because I didn't have much testers beside myself so they may be still be some errors (i found an abysmal bug just a few days ago), although the fact @abunille made it work reasures me a little !

Between abunille im deutsch and me in english (I can still read Deutsch pretty good but can't write good enough anymore) I think we will be able to help you step by step.

Just restart the whole installation on your new sd exactly like I did and wrote in my github and we should be able to help you as soon as you encounter some trouble

Recalbox 4.0.2 frisch installiert (RPI 3)
amiga4recalbox-master nach Anleitung eingebunden.

Controller: iBuffalo SNES
Mouse + Keyboard

Ich habe mich an der Turrican Reihe probiert. Hier meine Ergebnisse:

ADF Amiga 600:
-Turrican 1 startet nicht
-Turrican 2 funktioniert!
-Turrican 3 bootet nicht bis zum Start durch (Zahlen unten rechts laufen weiter)

ADF Amiga 1200:
-Turrican 1 startet nicht
-Turrican 2 Grafik gleich am Anfang nicht in Ordnung + Spiel lässt sich nicht starten, reagiert auf keine Eingabe, wie z.B. Mouse.
-Turrican 3 startet erst normal (Factor 5 Sequenz) bootet dann nicht weiter bis zum Spielstart durch (Zahlen unten rechts laufen weiter).

WHDLOAD Amiga 600 und 1200:
Kein Spiel lässt sich starten. Ich lande immer sofort im uae Menü. Klicke ich auf Start, lädt Workbench v1.3

Ich weiss nicht mehr weiter. Hier mal Screenshots der WHDLOAD Ordner.
Vielleicht habe ich dort etwas verkehrt gemacht?

Thema whdload (amiga 1200):
Das es funktioniert hast du bereits im Video gesehen.

Wie ich weiter oben bereits geschrieben hatte, kannst du gerne Schritt für Schritt (auf deutsch) beschreiben, was du gemacht hast.
Oder ich sage dir nach und nach (LIVE) was du machen sollst
Ich habe das nun ca. 10 mal neu gemacht, immer lief alles wunderbar.

Amiga 600 ist nicht meins, da könnte ein anderer eventuell Hilfestellung geben.

@hubi ok you can try the following for whdload :

• launch putty on your pc
• kill emulation station with /etc/init.d/S31emulationstation stop
• wait for the black screen on your recalbox
• go into /recalbox/share/emulateurs/
• type the following command :
  ./amigascript.sh "/recalbox/share/roms/amiga1200/Turrican.uae" 1200
  and then copy back to me everything which appears in the terminal
• also could you copy the content of your Turrican.uae file ?

Hallo, ich bin noch bei der Arbeit und weiß noch nicht ob ich es heute Abend schaffe.
Die Turrican.uae Datei ist leer. Ich habe einfach eine leere Datei entsprechend dem Ordner benannt.
