Solved ZDoom (for Brutal Doom support)

Hello, I didn't see a Suggestions forum anywhere so this seemed like the closest thing... move the topic where you see fit.

I would like to see PrBoom replaced with ZDoom. RetroPie is able to support ZDoom and as such they can play Brutal Doom, it makes me jealous even though I love RecalBox way more. (Much better N64/Dreamcast play and better interface)

There is no libretro core to use zdoom, only a standalone version.
Adding a standalone emulator in recalbox (compared to retropie) ask a lot of work because we must dev a specific configgen forthis emulator (to be able to automatically configure this emulator).
So maybe in the future, but for the moment it is not the priority, we are lacking of ressources to dev each suggested points by community. We must do some choices.
