How to swap your SD card to a new one?

Hi guys,

I'm using a 64Gb class 4 SD card (23Gb used) and today I got a Sandisk Extreme Ultra 32GB card. I want to transfer my files to this new SD without having to reconfigure all the changes I've made with this current system.

Is there a way for me to do this transfer?

If I go into root via WinSCP and copy everything to a folder on the PC and transfer to the new SD, would it work?

Any suggestions will be apreciate guys. Thanks.
