blinking white cursor after the second boot

Hello, I'm reaching out to you because I have a project to create an arcade machine using the resources I already have, without spending more than necessary. To do this, I plan to use an old PC of mine and Recallbox. I'm using Rufus to flash Recallbox onto my 128GB USB drive. The first boot goes smoothly, and I set Recallbox to French (my native language). However, upon restarting, nothing appears on the screen except a black screen with a blinking white cursor. I’ve tried other software to flash my USB drive, but it doesn’t change anything. I’ve also tried another USB drive, but that doesn’t work either. I haven't found anything online that could help me, so I'm desperately awaiting your help.
