I've tried finding es_systems.cfg, SSH to find it, etc. For some reason I can't get in through SSH with the default password, "recalboxroot" wasn't working and I couldn't find any newer posts saying the password had changed. Is there any other quick way to hid .bin files without having to go through each and every one?

I've been trying to do that, but for me the only things under /.emulationstation are the "themes" folder, es_input.cfg, and es_settings.cfg I can't see anything else.

I've checked again an in Recalbox 6 the es_systems.cfg File is in share/system/.emulationstation.

But after Version 6 they changed something, look here:
            https://forum.recalbox.com/topic/17186/problem-custom-es_system-cfg/4
            and here
            https://forum.recalbox.com/topic/21937/recalbox-7-0-1-es_systems-cfg-file-does-not-exist-hide-some-extensions-file/4?_=1650539675866

So I think there is now no "easy" Way to hide the Files.

It seems the only Way to hide them is to do it manually:

            1. Mark the *.BIN File in the Gamelist
            2. Choose "Options"
            3. Choose "EDIT THIS GAMES METADATA"
            4. Set "Hidden" to "ON"
            5. Select "SAVE"
The Disadvantage is, that you have to do that for all your Files by Hand.

I think there is another using the ARRM-Scrapper, but I don't know how this works.
            Maybe this will help

@alvin Ah, that sucks 😞 I'm on Linux and not all that great at using Wine, so ARRM probably won't help me either. Thanks for the help though, gonna keep working at it.

...and now it's working as it should? I have no idea what happened, I hadn't done a thing besides nuke the folder and try different files. Oh well.
