Prevent /recalbox/share mounting on boot
-
Hi, I'm currently using 4.0.0 on my Pi2 and using an external HDD for roms succesfully by following the guide on the wiki. I've edited fstab to mount the hdd to /recalbox/share but when i check mounts it still seems to be attempting to mount the SD partition to /recalbox/share as follows (this is the result of executing "mount" and not my fstab config, there's no mention of mmcblk0p8 in /etc/fstab config /dev/mmcblk0p8 on /recalbox/share type ext4 (rw,noatime, data=ordered) /dev/sda1 on /recalbox/share type vfat (rw,relatime,fmask=0022,dmask=0022,codepage=437,iocha**et=ascii,shortname=mixed,errors=remount-ro) I can't see any way to stop the initial partition auto mounting, any ideas?

No need to edit the fstab with 4.0.0. It's native. Press start then select system, then change the external device. Not sure if it prevent the mount from sd card but it will probably help.

yes indeed it is native and integrated to ES on recalbox 4.0.0 Once your external device selected in ES, the system will reboot. During this reboot, recalboxOS will create a folder
recalbox
on the root of your device. This folder contains all folder/files of your/share
partition. Only to add you personal files to your external device using your PC, and boot recalbox.
