Has anybody got N64 running on the recalbox 4.0 ? Mine couldnt launch games, steps to reproduce: 1)Add roms .v64 and .z64 extension 2) Launch Blank screen and then goes back to the game list, Ive also tried changing core from default to RICE, N64 etc still same symptoms 
Hi, no problems at home. It is maybe your screen that don't accept the default screen resolution. You can check this wiki and try a video mode compatible with your screen. https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/N64-%3A-return-to-ES-(EN) For information : In 3.3.0beta17 the default video mode was DMT 9 HDMI (800x600) and now DMT 4 HDMI (640x480)
Sounds like the same problem I was having, caused by not having an L1/R1 button configured - see here http://blog.recalbox.com/forums/topic/official-recalbox-4-0-0-beta-thread/page/8/
