6.1.1 Controlls messed up

In the main menu on the arcade controller bought on the aliexpress control buttons are messed up. The arrows do not work. In games, everything works fine.
I can't set up the controls because only the first controller now works on the menu.

Somehow I enabled the controller configuration window by clicking a couple of buttons on the external gamepad.
