the Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask running slow

  • When I play The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask it's really choppy, the audio is really low quality (that might actually just be how the game is), and there is a strange white border around every 3d model. The thing is, when I play Super Mario 64 I get none of these issues except the white border.

    I am not sure what the name of the emulator I am using, I just put the rom in the n64 file using the IP\share\roms method.

    I think it might have to do with the fact that Majora's Mask required the extra ram plugin, but I don't know how (or if) you can do that.

    I really do not know what I am doing, so please explain like I am 3-5 years old.

    ====Things I am using and things====
    Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+
    The case that you can put the Rpi in (came with the kit, read somewhere that overheating might happen in that case)
    UK power supply (read somewhere that the amount of power can affect performance)

  • Its a problem by your Rom Zelda, a better rom resolve the problem.
    (scuse me for my english)

  • @garton no worries, I did find a fix by routing around the menus, but in the end I had to replace the ROM because it was only really a half-fix. Thanks for your advice.
