Raspberry Pi 3 Gameboy Handheld

Does somebody have experience with handheld builds? I have seen this video:

Will recalbox work on it? They usually work with retropie, but i don't like retropie. So before buying something like that i want to know if everything will work fine with recalbox (screen, speakers, battery, volume wheel, buttons etc.)

According to the video, it contains a Raspberry Pi 3B with no operating system installed. I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be able to install RecalBox on it.
