This happened a few days ago and what I did was reinstall the system but the error persists

Hello, it seems to be a hardware problem. Try using a usb hub with external power

@abismatico sometimes usb doesn’t give enough power for various device. Your keyboard may work and an other device not.
Using a usb hub externally powered can help you
