Amiga video stuttering
-
Hello, recently I noticed a little stuttering inside amiga emulator (horizontal scrolling game like alien breed). On my pc (winuae) I solve changing the video frequency from 60 to 50 hz. Inside recalbox, i have not found this option. I can change the resolution but not the video frequency.
How can I change the video frequency only within the "amiga emulation"?I have a raspberry pi 3, recalbox (18.07.13)

@gullo search the forum there was a post a long time ago about that, although none of us were convinced about the stuterring or couldn't really see it.
but since amiberry is not a libreto core, it's not possible to change that only for it though, you'll have to change it for the whole pi

Hi thank for you answer, the stuttering is really light on my tv (LG 32" full hd), but it really exist :). On pc screen (samsung 22") instead is heavy and force me to seach a solution.
In this forum i have found a very old threed (about amiga configuration, really hard to find here). I have write into recalbox.conf "amiga600.videomode=CEA 19 hdmi" to force a 50 hz 720p, but it doesn't seem work. why? Is correct this procedure? or is my mistake.
This problem is heavily documented within the amiga emulation and it seems to me very strange that it is not supported here. I will wait for future developments to see if anything changes in recalbox.

Because once against it is not a libretro core, so you can modify its display properties like that.
Actually, as far as I know, you can't modify display properties at all in amiberry's version of recalbox, when we integrated it it was a pretty early version.
Now they (amiberry's team) worked a lot on it but I'm not even sure they implemented that, I'll have a look on it when I work on the bug upgrade of the emulator in a several months.
In the future the aim of amiberry's team was to make it a libretro core though, so it should be possible in the not-so-near future
