Fast loading format for ZX Spectrum?

Hi everyone,

I wanted to play around with some ZX Spectrum games (didn't grow up with the system, was a C64 kid) and was wondering if there was an equivalent to the C64's .crt format to bypass the long tap or disk loading times on the speccy.

My zxspectrum folder has about 2,400 games and I don't remember any taking more than a couple of seconds to load .

There are more than 1 type of file suported - what ones are you trying ?
