Also I forgot to add the game ROMs are .chd files (the wiki states the Libretro-cdi2015 emulator only supports .chd and .cmd extensions).
I even took the original game files from the .zip and ran them through the current CHDMAN executable (0.261) to re-create the .chd files and make sure they are up to date...but I am still having the same issue.
