08.02.19 e configurazione amiga

@starbury in effetti oltre l'amiberry implementato su recalbox che non supporta ancora certe cose anche la scelta del controller è importante, ti suggerisco di dare un'occhiata qua:

@voljega As promised, here are the two videos: One in 60hrz and the other in 50hrz on the same Raspberry 3.
Test done on "Great Giana Sister" and "Alien Breed T.A" for example.
On a real Amiga, the scrollings are fluid like the 50Hrz mode.
The problem is idem on other TVs, and computers even on PC with Winuae.If after these videos you tell me that you do not see differences between the 60 and 50hrz, I can not anything for you.

@zolive59
I don't see any differences at all for Alien Breed.For Giana Sisters title scrolling, the 50Hz does seems a little more fluid (that is a little more speedy, not a question of 'saccades') than the 60Hz until you arrive at 0:46 / 0:47 in the 50hz video where there is indeed an ugly 'saccade' an another one a little later. So I indeed do see do big 'saccades'... in the video you're presenting as the superior one....
But if you have any ressource, article anything about this amiga issue, I will gladly read it.

@voljega "I don't see any differences at all for Alien Breed."
Are you serious or is it a joke ?"For Giana Sisters title scrolling, the 50Hz does seems a little more fluid (that is a little more speedy, not a question of 'saccades') than the 60Hz until you arrive at 0:46 / 0:47 in the 50hz video where there is indeed an ugly 'saccade' an another one a little later. My phone is of poor quality, I do not have a device to capture the direct video source.
in addition, the quality is degraded by the encoding of youtube.
Do the experiment yourself, pass the ES in 50p and you will see yourself a huge difference."But if you have any ressource, article anything about this amiga issue, I will gladly read it."
Ok, I'm preparing you this weekend -
@voljega You just have to be blind or bad for not seeing the difference.
Even my grandmother sees it ...
take me for a fool ... -
A tip for those who do not have crap in their eyes: Go to 50herz from the file "config. txt " To have the games at the right speed on Amiga and C64.
The other emulators will be at the right speed: 60hrz -
@voljega I invite you to read this topic, in French :
https://www.amigaimpact.org/forums/topic/indivision-1200-aga-mk2cr-et-ecran-50hz/
"Si tu n’es pas en 50 Hz, c’est impossible que ce soit fluide. Peut-être est-tu moins sensible aux saccades que d’autres personnes"
"If you are not in 50hz, it is impossible to be fluid. Perhaps you are less susceptible to j**king than other people"in the future, avoid talking about things you do not know.

take me for a fool ...I was waiting for some better link that some obscure rant from some guy which like you is'nt even capable to convince other people. There are least two guys on the thread you linked which are no more convinced than me, that this is an issue. I suppose they are fool too, like all people i mentioned, including the whole amiberry team
I will pass on the whole ridiculous aspect of your own intervention here where the only example you're capable of giving doesn't even goes in your way... and when this is said to you the only thing you manage to say is that your phone is not capable of reproducing what your talking about.
anyway given the childish and insulting tone of your last posts and your utter lack of ability to prove your point clearly and politely, I don't see any point in continuing this 'discussion'
-
@voljega Even a blind person sees the difference on these two videos.
Coming from a person who knows nothing about the operation of the Amiga, it is better to stay there.
PS: Avoid advising the Amiga in the future, let the people who know about it talk about it. -
@zolive59 I'll speak as I wish and you can keep your childish stupid behaviour of yours and empty threats for people who are impressed by it.
-
@zolive59 Modifying the content of config.txt is not very recommended especially when selecting a mode that will force 50Hz on emulation station by default. Many LCD PC monitors (unlike TVs) won't properly lock 50 Hz resulting in black screen on emulation station after rebooting as far as not everyone is using Recalbox on a TV set.
Having tried myself a few amiga games with the latest recalbox version and Pi3, i didn't need to tweak anything in the config files to get games to be executed properly with correct speed and decent scrollings. Just my two cents though... -
@gkralicek2 beware, you're a blind person and a fool with crap in your eyes
-
@voljega yeah i probably am
-
Just add a
amiga.videomode=...
with the right CEA/DMT mode. You can even set some hdmi_cvt -
@substring amiberry doesn't handle it for now I'm afraid
-
@voljega it's not amiberry that handles it, it's configgen
-
@substring hmmm ok then

are you sure it's not
amiga600.videomode
andamiga1200.videomode
though ? -
@gkralicek2 I recommend this change only for TVs / monitors that accept the 50Hrz format, because it is not possible to change the C64 and Amiga emulators via the recalbox options (same retropy)
The other emulators will remain in 60hrz format, no worries.Just add a amiga.videomode=... with the right CEA/DMT mode. You can even set some hdmi_cvt
are you sure it's not
amiga600.videomode
andamiga1200.videomode
though ?it does not work on my raspberry 3.

@gkralicek2 Experience the Amiga emulator (scrolling) and C64 at home, in 50hrz , you'll see this huge difference.
I have something else to do than convince you, just: test by yourself.
