My setup and perhaps some inspiration for new Recalbox functionality
-
I've finished my personal setup of OpenELEC + RetroArch on Raspberry Pi 2. This is not Recalbox, but I've setup some emulators that I've noticed other people asking for on these forums, so maybe this can be an inspiration for adding new stuff to Recalbox. More importantly, I've created a CEC uinput daemon, that you can load at startup instead of using the built in cec driver in Kodi. This daemon translates CEC buttons into keyboard strokes so that you can use your remote in any application that supports keyboard. This means that you can use the remote in Emulation Station and inside the emulators too. You can see a demonstration of this in the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SR2DvcZF3I

so ,i can use joypad Instead of keyboard?
-
No, you can use a remote control as a gamepad over CEC.

This is interesting. I wish we can have this HDMI-CEC feature integrated onto Emulation Station's GUI in the future version of Recalbox.

How can I try this out?

You can download an image of the SD card I'm using by clicking the link in the video description. Remember to read the instructions also, it is not an automatic install.
