4.1 PC Engine Pixel Perfect Issues
-
Since the 4.1 update I'm LOVING that I can put "Square Pixels" as an aspect ratio and with "pixel perfect" integer scaling enabled I easily get true 8/7 razor sharp pixels on SNES and NES as well as Megadrive and Mega CD stuff looking fine as they always have.
However, with these settings and PC Engine system game now displays in a tiny box on screen. It's almost as if rather than an integer scaler the "pixel perfect" is literally just displaying native resolution! I can solve this by turning off integer scaling and leaving it on square pixels but it's not as sharp as I'd like.

I too am having this issue - the old settings were perfect for PCE
-
No ideas anyone? I guess in the meantime I'll just have to turn off pixel perfect whenever I play PC Engine. /shrug

@n0signal yeah, that's what I've been doing - without integer scale it looks to be the same as "pixel perfect" was before 4.1...at least for me.
-
I can't believe this isn't an issue for anyone else?

and if you set your ratio on
auto
?
I'm using this setting to allow each core to manage itself the ratio aspect, then I useinteger scale
option. -

Aspect is set to Auto as well, yes. -
@chad-ballew what kind of screen are you using ?
