HotKey+START Not Functional With 4.0 Final?

Hi All..

I have a 2 player arcade cabinet with 2 sets of zippy joysticks and buttons using 2P xin-mo

I configured recalbox 4.0 beta 6 to work with this setup and everything was fine.
During this period, the 1PHOTKEY+1PSTART buttons pressed together would break out of the game to bring me back to the main menu.

When I upgraded my cabinet to recalbox 4.0 final from either the upgrade process or from a brand new vanilla install, the 2 button combination of of 1PHOTKEY+1PSTART no longer breaks out of any game.

As a sanity check, I'm going to rollback to 4.0 beta6, but need to confirm with you guys if anything has been changed that would affect the hotkey combination not working anymore?

@tdelios breaking out of game has always been hotjey + start, not hotkey + select so something seems fishy, maybe try to reconfigure your buttons in Emulation Station menu

I mean't to say HOTKEY+START.. it was a typo on my part.. so with the typo in mind.. what has caused the problem?

@tdelios i'm not familiar with the xin-mo... Are your keys correctly configured in ES ?

it just occurred to me that I may have to edit the cmdline.txt as per my previous post a while back:

apparently, the cmdline.txt got replaced during the upgrade that had my manual settings in it. Going to back and update it again and see if that fixes the problem again.

as per the link.. the fix is in 4.1 (and not 4.0 Final)...

will keep you posted on my journey on this topic.
