Wired xbox 360 controller connection problems

I'm having problems with the connection of a wired xbox 360 controller.
I've already edited the recalbox.conf file
controllers.ps3.enabled=0
controllers.xboxdrv.enabled=1
But after closing the window and rebooting the RP nothing happens and the changes in the file aren't saved.
Help Me!!!!!

@thunder Edit the recalbox.conf file, set controllers.gpio.enabled to 0 and reboot

@Substring i have resolved by using a fake ps3 controller.....but i have other problems: when i start a game the controller doesn't work (it happens often, and i think it depends by the game i play) and sometimes the keyboard too seems not working. How can i fix?
