The option seems to be missing when running NES games, but I see it when running other emulators. Any clue how I might be able to fix this?
Thanks!

Hello, indeed some libretro cores don't have this "shortcut" in quick menu, this is not specific to recalbox.
But you can find all options of this menu, in settings/input
.
If you want, you can open an issue on the core github repo : https://github.com/libretro/QuickNES_Core
@rockaddicted Thank you for the quick response!
I am looking at the Settings->Input screen and it does not seem to offer the same features as Quick Menu -> Controls. I do not see an option to "Save Core Remap File". I tried backing out and saving, but that did not seem to take effect after I exited and reloaded the game.
Thanks!
Humm core remap option is not available on every cores.
Are you using quick nes core to have retroachievement support ?
Did you test fceumm core ? It should work too with retroachievement on the last recalbox 4.0.0 beta4.
This core is more accurate and have maybe core remap option (don't have a recalbox to check).
Perfect, that did it! Just needed to change to a different core (went to fceumm).
Thanks!
