Emulator Menu

Sorry I May have posted something like this a long time ago, I get side tracked, but I'm back with my Pi, Ive installed recalbox, but I want to customise the menu, I thought as long as the rom folder was empty the emulator wouldnt show, but this is not the case, I've tried renaming folders (to nameold) but all that happens is recalbox creates new folders, all I want is old consols, not computers
