archimedes emulator

Hi All, only just found this an im hoping to get retropi installed as soon as some pi's become available. This may be a stupid question but can other emulators be added to the system? in particular the acorn archimedes. I know there is a pi distro for it but that would mean needing 2 pi's one for this and one for the arch. Ive got it running on my mac but would like it on a system like this to play the games.
