MAME Force close in 4.0.0

Hello do you have bios or driver files with upper case extension .ZIP ? There is a known bug on 4.0.0 with that

No it's the opposite if you have .ZIP files you must change them to .zip

haha~ sorry I miss understand, however, I just feel wired this game will force quit after press "ok" but completely no problem in 3.3.0 b17 .

well I don't know exactly I haven't tested arcade games much since installing 4.0.0

I posted about the same issue with rainbow islands - however, the problem only seems to affect Pi2 and not Pi1

So for the moment problems only with Rainbow Islands and Dungeon Magic ? I'll give it a try if I find a minute

I think you can add Berzerk to the list - so I suspect there will be more titles affected

Not sure why these games aren't working for you. I've just tried all 3 you mentioned and all work perfectly for me using 4.0.0 beta 1 and default settings.

@stuart - is that on a Pi1 or Pi2 ? - a clean install on both shows that they are working on my Pi1 but not on my Pi2

Just playing with this further and I think I've found the trigger - if I go into the main menu -> game settings -> advanced -> Mame and then turn off the rewind option then both Rainbow Islands and Berserk run fine. As soon as I turn that option on then they both bail straight back to the menu after the rom copyright screen.
