ssh into your recalbox: root terminal access
cp /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc ~/.xinitrc
export TERM=xterm
nano ~/.xinitrc
and the file will open and i will put this below in the file ?
xrandr -s 800x600
@substring Tks that is wich i needed, i was following the steps (https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/Change-display-resolution-on-x86---x86_64) but i had a problem.
After conected by ssh with root acess, i wrote:
cp /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc ~/.xinitrc
"This will copy ~/.xinitrc to /recalbox/share/system (/recalbox/share/system/.xinitrc). This will be the file that we will edit."
but i dont know how can i edit this file, i tried
vi/nano
but i don't know how can i do it.
Hi Guys,
I'm using Recalbox system(Build 64055288 from pipeline 20811907 based on 18.04.20 ) x86 at a HP pavilion DM4 a laptop, works great, but when i tried use with a projector, the screen has been cut, beacuse the laptop is widescreen and the projector is 4:3, beacuse that 1/4 of the screen don't show for me. I tried to change the video ratio 16/9 to 4/3, but looks like as the screen showed is widescreen was cut.
i tried change same stuffs at recalbox.conf like global.videomode, but continued the same problem.
