I have my recalbox connected to a 16:9 TV via HDMI. Is there a way I can force the Menu screen to fit to a 4:3 scale on the same TV? At the moment the menu is widescreen, and would prefer it to be forced into a 4:3 ratio. Is there a different config file to be edited please? I can adjust in-game video settings through the web-gui config file, but that doesn't seem to affect the recalbox\emulation station menu screens. Thank you so much for your help!
Yes, you can edit /boot/config.txt
You need to do this via ssh.
You need to set hdmi_group and hdmi_mode to a 4:3 resolution.
