Update auf aktuelle Version

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe mein Recalbox reaktiviert und würde ihn gerne updaten. Aktuelle "Version ist v4.0.0-build-145 2016/06/26 00:52". Update "over the air" scheint nicht zu funktionieren. Sehe ich richtig, dass das nicht funktioniert und ich quasi das aktuelle Image von Recalbox komplett neu aufspielen muss?

Falls eine Neuinstallation notwendig ist:
Wie welche essenziellen Daten sollte ich sichern?

Oder anders gefragt: Wie installiere ich neu, ohne alles neu konfigurieren und aufspielen zu müssen?

beim Aufruf von bash -x /recalbox/scripts/recalbox-upgrade.sh canupgrade erhalte ich diese Antwort:

Thema kann geschlossen werden! Sehe, dass ab 4.0.1.x massive Änderungen gekommen sind, die nicht abwärtskompatibel sind.

Werde die ROMS sichern und das neue Image installieren.
