Recalbox-os on laptop = Audio Problem(s)

New User here so please bear with me.
When booting into USB key based install of recalbox-os on my Compaq laptop I get a loud hissing sound from the speakers & any game sounds/music are extremely faint.
My laptop has INTEL based on-board sound , is there any way to rectify this problem?

Hello please connect you on ssh on your laptop, then use the command alsamixer.
On the right, go on Loopback Mixing disable it and exit.
