It would be nice, if there would be an possibilty to use an external directory from an external device as the roms dir. Or if the recalbox/share folder would be not on a fat volume, to use a symlink.... For example i have a 1 TB ext USB device, this is formatted in ext4 and i use it for several files. If i could place my roms in a directory on this volume this would be a nice feature.

In my opinion it is already documented: https://github.com/digitalLumberjack/recalbox-os/wiki/Mount-a-remote-samba-share-on-system-directory-(EN) https://github.com/digitalLumberjack/recalbox-os/wiki/Auto-mount-of-usb-in-place-of-share-partition-(EN)

There IS and option to change the share partition to an external drive, but this drive must be fomatted to FAT32 from what I understand. Is this true? Is there no way to make the share partition work on an ext4 partition? I have some pretty huge films that would not fit on a FAT32 system. PS: I am a bit of a noob with these things.

Hello! And the possibility to have an option to switch between the internal Recalbox folder Roms and other external USB via a menu option? Greetings!
